ABA Services

Our program offers applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs with a specialization in applied verbal behavior (AVB), discrete trial instruction and natural environment teaching for children on the autism spectrum. Experienced board-certified behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians help children to understand and use language for functional and social communication. Our program is an ABA/AVB program that begins with the family working with the BCBA and RBT in their home with their child. The family is trained by TPI staff and supported with weekly, biweekly or monthly visits to provide feedback, ongoing training, guidance regarding the direction of goals, and ensure that progress is being made toward the child’s established goals.
Our program is designed for children of all ages who have autism or other developmental disabilities who need support developing functional communication and other language and learning challenges. Our program begins with a BCBA completing either an ABLLS assessment, VB-MAPP or Essentials for Living Assessment and develops and intensive individualized program for your child. A BCBA develop, train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to work one-on-one with your child in your home and/or community.

Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan (FBA/BIP): Our program is designed for children who may or may not have a diagnosis but who engage in challenging behavior in the home, school or community settings. A BCBA will conduct a records review, interview with parents, staff and student, complete direct observations in the setting in which the behavior occurs and develop behavior interventions plans for behavior reduction and acquisition of replacement behaviors. Training for staff and parents are provided on proper implementation of interventions. Additional time providing one-to-one support by a BCBA and/or RBT may recommended.
